1) Cuba Libre


The main ingredients are rum and Coke with a dash of lime.


  • 1 lime
  • Coca-Cola
  • Ice
  • 2 ounces of dark rum

  • Drop the lime shell in the glass. Add ice and rum. Muddle the oils from the lime shell in the glass.
  • Top with Coca-Cola and stir briefly.

  • Lime wedge, plus 2 lime wheels for garnish
  • 1 tablespoon coarse salt, for glass rims
  • 4 ounces high-quality Blanco tequila
  • 2 ounces Cointreau
  • 1 ½ ounces fresh juice from 2 limes


  • Combine tequila, lime juice and Cointreau in a cocktail shaker. Fill it with ice and shake it thoroughly till it is completely chilled.
  • Run the lime wedge on the outer rims of your rock glasses and dip the rims in salt.
  • Top up the glasses with ice and pour the margarita over it. Garnish with lime wheels and serve.

  • 75ml vodka
  • 75ml peach schnapps
  • 200ml cranberry juice

  • 50ml white rum
  • 25ml coconut cream

  • Pour the contents in a chilled Poco Grande glass and serve with an umbrella.

5) Sherry Martini


The savoury essences of dry sherry provide a distinct flavour to a simple martini.


  • 1 ounce fino or manzanillo sherry
  • 2 ounces of gin
  • Small strip of lemon twist or Spanish ham for garnish
